Management Team

Jim Morrissey is the Chief Executive Officer of Investor Force. He is responsible for establishing the strategic direction, leading the management team, guiding Investor Force's strategic alliances and managing the implementation and execution of Investor Force's business model. Jim has over two decades of experience in general management, marketing and strategic analysis. Morrissey, who joined Investor Force at its founding in 1999, has been a pioneer in the development of technology based solutions for the institutional investment management industry. During his tenure with Investor Force, Jim has also completed three critical acquisitions while positioning the company as the premier performance measurement provider in the investment industry.

Previously, Morrissey was a Principal with Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he led the firm's global marketing initiatives. Earlier, he worked in the fixed income division at Goldman Sachs & Co., and gained significant brand management and sales management experience with The Coca Cola Company and Procter & Gamble.

Morrissey received his M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Siena College (Loudonville, NY). He currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of The Miquon School (Conshohocken, PA).  

Executive Chairman

Jim Satloff joined InvestorForce in early May and brings with him deep executive-level experience and a track record of global leadership in financial services and technology. Jim was Executive Managing Director for Standard & Poor’s Investment Services business where he had direct responsibility for S&P’s portfolio of global institutional markets businesses and for all aspects of the strategy, growth and worldwide expansion of S&P’s businesses in the institutional investor market and mutual fund segments.

Jim was also President of S&P’s Compustat division, where he was responsible for managing the global technology financial services organization and delivering products and services to support institutional investment research and portfolio analysis. Additionally, Jim has been CEO of an investment bank. 
 
Jim has an MBA from Columbia University Business School and a BA from Columbia College, where he majored in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence with a concentration in Humanities and French.
 
He enjoys skiing and ski racing, photography, poker and bridge.
 
Chief Operating Officer

Steve Johnson joined InvestorForce with a broad range of experience in the institutional investment industry in product development, software and operations. Steve’s background includes roles as: Chief Operating Officer at Redstone Investment Management, a long/short equity hedge fund; Head of US Institutional & Alternatives at Gartmore Global Investments; head of product management at two Silicon Valley software companies, EXP Systems and Intuit; and Senior Product Manager at Fidelity Investments.

His extensive cross-functional experience, operational discipline and deep domain knowledge will add significantly to the continued evolution of InvestorForce’s platform.
 
Steve has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in History and Economics from Yale University.
 
He is a masters swimmer, avid grammarian, NASCAR fan and amateur Nixon historian.
 
Senior Vice President, Business Development

Hope Strout is the Head of Sales of InvestorForce.  Hope is responsible for assessing strategic opportunities for all product application initiatives and oversees the day to day operations of the sales force.  In her tenure at InvestorForce, Strout has played key roles in business development, product development and client service.  Prior to joining InvestorForce, Strout served as a Principal and Client Relationship Officer for Barclays Global Investors. In that role, Strout was responsible for sales and client services among a broad audience of institutional investors including public funds, corporations, endowments and foundations. Hope has over 17 years of institutional investment sales experience.

Strout holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is a NASD Series 7 and 63 registered representative.  

Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

Anthony Ruggeri was promoted to Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at InvestorForce in July 2005. He is responsible for applications development, database management, and quality assurance.

Ruggeri has been with InvestorForce since its founding, and has held various technical management positions during his time with the company. He has been responsible for web site infrastructure and management, software architecture, and the applications group at InvestorForce. Ruggeri has over 12 years of professional experience in software development and technology management, and is proficient with a number of software tools and languages. He has worked with Microsoft development technologies for almost 20 years. Previously, Ruggeri was MIS Team Leader at Comcast Cellular, and has additional professional experiences with CoreTech Consulting Group and Pedagogue Solutions in software development and management roles.

A former Pew Fellow in Systematics and a curatorial assistant at Philadelphia's Academy of Natural Sciences, Ruggeri graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in Molecular Biology.      

Vice President, Product Management

As Vice President of Product Management, Blake is responsible for developing and executing the product strategies in addition to managing the branding, marketing and third party reseller channels for InvestorForce.  Blake brings over 30 years of experience in software product development, product management and marketing in addition to significant experience in consulting services and solution delivery.

Blake has founded two software consulting and product companies during his career in which he was responsible for commercializing the software product and service offerings.  In 1985 Blake co-founded First Choice Software, a technology consulting company which developed one of the first report writer products for MS-DOS applications.  In 1991 Blake co-founded New Horizons Development Group and brought to market one of the early enterprise level CRM software solutions targeted at fortune 1000 companies.  Most recently Blake was providing management consulting services to AIG, Ernst & Young, The NY Times and the Boston Globe through Prolocity Corporation, a company he founded in 2003.

Vice President, Enterprise Implementation

Barbara Vaughn was promoted to Vice President, Enterprise Implementation & Service in July 2005.

She joined the company in April 2000, and for the past four years has served as Director of Client Service. Previously, Vaughn spent 13 years at Shared Medical Systems, Inc. (now Siemens), where her experience spanned Education, Marketing and their Consulting practice. Her prior professional experiences include roles in Public Accounting, Work Process Improvement, and Marketing.

Vaughn graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Accounting, and has a NASD Series 7 license.
